Ok so I am done with that.
Now...in my drawing class we are working with nupastels. I LOVE IT!!!!!!! At first I was so confused. Because we start off with a dark blue, add orange. And you use all these colors just to create one color. Once I started and got the hang of it, it was awesome. It is so much fun. And what I also love is I have people asking me if I worked in this before. It lets me know I am doing my job! Has anyone else worked in nupastels? I will have to post a picture up when it is done. The only thing I don't like about that is the fact that pictures usually don't do it justice.

Also...I am in 3D. We recently did a cardboard head of ourselves. I will have to post that up when I can take a picture of it. My teacher has it right now. But we are going to be doing wood project. I used a saw today. He made me, I knew he would choose me! I was scared, but it was pretty cool. It was one of those saws that you hold on to a bar and push a trigger and pull the bar down. If you have any idea what I am talking about!

So I wanted to say thanks for everyone's feedback on double majoring. I am going to try and double major! I really feel like it would be a great move for my future career and I love to draw and would miss it dearly if I didn't do it that often.

So I dunno if anyone knows this but I am majoring in graphic design. My teacher told me she saw me in illustration and wants me to double major. She is the head of foundations and is an amazing artist. So having her tell me that was really cool. So now I have to decide if I want to do this. I want to, because I love to draw and I feel that having majoring in both will give me a greater advantage. But on the other hand I will be in school longer and I will have a bigger work load.

Stresses me out...I really want to do both!! But do I have the time or money? Blah...
What do you think I should do.

So this is just a quick journal. Today in my drawing class we had a working critique so my teacher talked to us individually on our work. This work had to include a body part of ourselves and object/s that is/are important to us. So I'm sure everyone can guess what body part I chose! My eye!!! Anywho so she was talking to me about my work and said that when she heard my idea she was like...oh not another eye. But then she saw it and was like...you can definitely pull this off. I said thanks but in my head I was like...oh yeah I'm awesome with my eyes. Haha, I thought of you guys too so had to share!

I will post that work up later...I have to make some adjustments to it and then I will share. It's done in charcoal...and I worked with conte last semester so this is a whole new thing for me. Getting better at it. AND we are still using conte in class because it's a design(clean) room. So I only get to practice with charcoal on my homework. This was my second time using it.

Well that is all for now, I am always working on a manip so I will have some artwork to show soon!

Anywho, I have the flu. I got it this past Sunday...and it has yet to go away. I am a lot better, on Tuesday I woke up with a 103 degree fever. Now the only thing bugging me is my stuffy nose and my headache. I really hate being sick, especially because I was forced to skip a couple of my classes. I definitely have to catch you guys up with what is going on in my life with school and such. So expect a journal soon full of stories!! That is it for now...I might go take a nap.

Well, after my poll I decided to finish one drawing I was working on and upload it here since people wanted to see more drawings! I am not the best at drawing, but I am happy with how this one turned out. So please go look at it

I plan on doing another eye manipulation and uploading it sometime this week. And then I will finish a photo manipulation I was working on from before and upload it later. AND then hopefully do something with the Seven Deadly Sins! I kinda of want to restart them because my skills at working with photos has improved.

There is a reason why I got quiet all of a sudden...this isn't something I was looking forward to doing. Some of you know Herby, my cat. If you don't know who he was, he was a wonderful cat who just turned 17 a couple weeks ago. This past week he got very sick. We couldn't let him struggle like that and had him put down. I really feel like I lost part of my family.

I do plan on being active on this site, it's just a little hard right now. I've strayed away from my art again because this happening...was a horrible experience. I miss him so much, he really was the best cat in the world.

I feel like I never go on here anymore and I want to change that. I also feel like since I never go on here anymore...a lot of my watchers and friends have left. It makes me sad when I think about it, I use to go on here all the time and submit artwork at least once a week or so. And now I'm hardly ever here. I miss talking to your guys about art and my crazy library stories...

I want to change this, I want to draw and make art again. I want to be active on this site again! So first step is that I hope to take commissions...including eye manipulations and maybe even photo manipulations. I know! I've been dead! Sorry everyone for being like this, I had to get rid of my messages and notes...I cannot respond to everything at the moment. I will reply to future notes though. BUT HEY! I'M BACK...maybe

I have been quiet lately, just wanted to give you guys a quick update.

Things have been going very well, Andrew and I have been dating for a month now! It's actually a month today. I really like him, he is definitely special. One thing that is important to me in dating is views on drinking/smoking...I never want to drink. I don't see the point of drinking. If you drink, that's fine, I don't judge. But with dating, it is really nice to have someone with the same views. And it is extremely hard to find someone else like that. BUT...Andrew doesn't drink/smoke nor will he ever. And we both talked about this and agreed that it's amazing we have the same views on a lot of things. I'm really happy. He is gone this week though, he went to his grandparent's house for Christmas. There is no internet or reception up there...no communication. So it kinda sucks, he told me he was going to get fat from being depressed I miss him already and can't wait for next Monday when I can see him again. Anyways, just wanted to let you guys know that everything is going really well and I'm very happy. I hope everyone is doing well too.

Aaaand I miss drawing. I haven't done anything in ages and I'm finding it hard to get motivated to start again. Sigh, I wanna draw but I'm like gaaah I gotta do other stuff :[ One day, one day, I'll start again.

So how did it go you ask? Haha, well...wonderful! Seriously, it almost felt like a dream...


Ok, so here is what happened. He picks me up for the date and of course, holds open the door. He says, "For you, my lady" and I was like awwwww <3 So we talked the whole time on the way to the movies and we were going to the mall which, of course, has a theater in it. We parked at this one store and were going to just cut through the store - but the mall and the stores were closing. So we were like...ok lets see if there is a way to get out. Well there wasn't and we had to go out the doors, which were locked, so finally someone came. And finally we got to the theater. But before that we were talking. And I said I would pay since I was the one who asked him out. And he was like, well I was just about to do it! He was like, I took a breath and you did it! But see on Friday, before I changed stations, I thought I saw him. And I figured I would just see him when he left since I was greeter (by the front entrance...greeting people) but he never came. So, I just figured I must have not seen him. Well turns out, he was there. For the whole hour he waited for me to come back, he said he played tetris. And he was like, I was so happy to see you when you finally came out. I was like awww, so cute! And also, I totally forgot this. But a while back, I had talked to Andrew's mom before I knew him. We actually talked about Twilight. And I had told her I liked it. So he was like, my mom told me you liked it! I then explained to him why I no longer liked it. But I thought it was cute he talked to his mom about it and that she remembered me. But anyways, the movie. Honestly? Don't go see it. It has awesome special effects and the story isn't that bad. But me and him both agreed that The Day After Tomorrow is SO much better. And of course, I had to get the kid behind me that kept kicking my seat. I swear, I always get them! Buuut, anyways after that he was going to take me home. He had to get back, so we couldn't do anything afterwards. But it was so cold outside! It was nice before, but then...sheesh. It got cold. But, since we had to park by that one store, we had to go down this hill. Which was crazy steep. I'm thinking to myself, I'm gonna fall. But he held my hand so it made it much easier. And then he didn't let go either. Took me home, walked me up to my door, and we kissed goodnight. It was just a really nice night and I'll see him tomorrow since he said he'll come to the library.

Anyways, he is a really nice guy and I'm so glad I went out with him.

So I am sure everyone is wondering what happened today.

Ok, so I was in back office answering the phones and I saw him out there and I was like, "Noooo...." because I can't leave my spot. But I was like, no, I am not waiting another week to ask him out! So I went out there and one of my co-workers covered for me (she knew about him) So he came up and asked if I was a Twilight fan, I said no. I'm guessing since New Moon just came out he was going to ask me if I wanted to go. I know, I know. Some of you are going to be like what?!?! I just don't like the books like I used to and I've seen Twilight and it's ok. He seemed sad after that, but then I asked him out...he said yes! He looked so happy! He started to laugh because he was going to ask me out today (I was right) aaaaand what was so cute was that he already had his phone number written out on a little piece of paper BUT I also thought it was so sweet that he was willing to go see New Moon with me. We are going out on Sunday and we'll be seeing 2012. I wanted to see it and I figured he would too. I was right, he said it was his kind of movie.

Awwww, I'm so happy. And nervous. If everything works out and we do end up dating, I will take a picture of him like some of you asked.

If you are wondering about that guy from the library, sadly, nothing has really happened. He comes in ever week and we talk for a while. BUT, I'm planning on asking him out tomorrow. Hopefully! Wish me luck, I'll come back tomorrow and tell you guys how it went...ha ha hopefully it is good news.

So yes, I have more stories about the library.

He did come in yesterday but nothing exciting happened. I was checking out someone and even though check out 2 became available, he stayed so that I would check him out. He asked me how I was doing, I asked him the same. Then I checkout out his dvd, told him when it was due, and said bye. Yeah. My mind went blank and could not think of a thing to ask him! Well, I know I will see him again so I'll think of something to ask him.

I have two other stories. I wear a name tag at work and recently I got my first name taken off, for many reasons. I'm sure you guys can guess why. Anyways, some guy comes up and says, "Hey, they didn't put your first name on your tag!" And I said, "Actually, I wanted it that way." And he looked at me funny, and said, "Ooookayyy..." In my head I was thinking, "Yeah, so creeps like you don't know my name!"

My other story, is that some older guy (he is a father) kept telling me I looked like this character on "Xena" which of course scared me. And yesterday he came in and showed me her on the dvd. He said, "Every time I watch this and see her, I think of you!" Why??? WHY ME? So I looked the show up, and I'm pretty sure he thinks I look like the character Gabrielle. I don't watch the show, never seen it, but just looking at the pictures...it seems like she is a lesbian. That's perfect. She does sorta look like me, but not really. Now I feel sick. And he keeps telling me I should watch it.

Yeah, who says the library is a boring place?
